Viro AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your information in connection with the Viro AI mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you consent to the practices described below.

 

1. Information We Collect
 

Email Address

Collected when you register or sign in.

Used solely for account creation, authentication, password recovery, and service-related communications.

 

Payment Information

All billing and payment details are handled by Stripe via an external Checkout portal.

We do not store or process your credit-card data directly.

 

Analytics Data

We use Microsoft Clarity to collect anonymous usage metrics (e.g. session duration, feature usage) to improve our App.

We do not collect device identifiers, precise location, or personal analytics beyond what Clarity provides.

 

2. How We Use Your Information
 

Account Management: Enable you to sign in, recover your password, and access App features.

Payments: Facilitate subscription billing via Stripe.

App Improvement: Analyze anonymous usage patterns through Microsoft Clarity to refine features and performance.

Support & Communication: Respond to your inquiries and send important updates (e.g., upcoming maintenance, policy changes).

 

3. Information Sharing
 

Stripe: To process and manage your subscription payments.

Storage & Hosting Partner: We store your email and chat histories with a secure backend service (you control deletion—see Section 5).

Microsoft Clarity: To gather anonymous analytics data for product improvements.

 

We do not share your email or chat content with any other third parties, including AI providers or marketing platforms.

 

4. Data Retention & Deletion
 

Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time via the Settings screen in the App.

Immediate Removal: Upon your deletion request, all personal data (including email and chat history) is permanently erased—no retention beyond that point.

Data Requests: You may request confirmation of data removal or a copy of your data by contacting us (see Section 6).

 

5. Children’s Privacy
 

Viro AI is designed for general audiences and not specifically for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental consent.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, please contact us to have it removed.

 

6. Security
 

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest, including:

Encryption: All network communication is secured via HTTPS/TLS.

Secure Storage: Data is stored on hardened servers with access controls.

Access Controls: Administrative access is limited to authorized personnel only.
