Viro AI (“Viro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Viro AI mobile and web applications (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the App.

Our priority is transparency and user trust. We do not sell your data, we do not build behavioral advertising profiles, and we do not train AI models on your chats.

Email Address

  • Collected when you create or sign in to your account.

  • Used for authentication, password resets, and account-related notifications.

Chat History

​

  • We store your conversations so you can access them across devices and continue where you left off.

  • You may delete individual chats or your entire account at any time.

Payment Information

  • Mobile (iOS/Android): Managed through RevenueCat

  • Web: Managed through Stripe Checkout
    We do not store payment card information.

Anonymous Analytics

​

  • We use anonymous analytics (e.g., Microsoft Clarity) to understand feature usage and improve performance.

  • We do not collect location data, contact lists, or unique device identifiers for analytics.

2. Advertising

 

The App may display contextual advertising.
 

How Ads Work
 

Ads are based solely on the content of the current message you send (e.g., “homework” may show an education-related ad).


What Ads Do Not Do


We do not:

  • Create behavioral or interest-based profiles

  • Perform cross-site or cross-app tracking

  • Share personal information (such as your email)

  • Train advertising models on your chat history

  • Allow advertisers to access past conversations

Advertisers do not receive your identity or account details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use data to:

  • Authenticate your account

  • Display and sync chat history

  • Handle subscription billing

  • Provide support and communicate updates

  • Improve the App experience

  • We do not use your personal data for targeted advertising or data sales.

3. Information Sharing

  • Stripe: For processing subscription payments.

  • Secure Backend Service: To store your email and conversation history (you can delete via the App).

  • Microsoft Clarity: For anonymous analytics.

We do not share your email or chat content with other third parties, including AI model providers or marketing platforms.

4. AI Model Providers

 

When you send a message, the content of that message is securely transmitted to third-party AI providers to generate a response.

  • Used for inference only

  • We do not train AI models on user chats

  • Providers do not receive your email or account details

5. Information Sharing

 

We only share data with essential service providers, including:

  • RevenueCat (mobile subscriptions)

  • Stripe (web subscriptions)

  • Cloud infrastructure providers (secure storage of email + chat history)

  • Third-party AI providers (message inference)

  • Analytics providers (anonymous usage insights)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information with third parties.

6. Data Retention, Control & Deletion

You are in control of your data.

 

You may request to:

  • Delete individual conversations

  • Delete your account entirely

  • Request a copy of your data

  • Confirm deletion

When you delete your account, all personal data (email and chat history) is permanently removed from our systems.

​

7. Children’s Privacy

​

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact us if you believe we have inadvertently collected such information.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including:

  • TLS encryption for data in transit

  • Encrypted cloud storage

  • Strict access controls

  • Account-level data isolation

The App uses secure cloud infrastructure hosted in the United States.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. We will revise the “Last updated” date and notify you of material changes within the App.
